Rev. Terry L. Corder has been Pastor of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church since February of 2006. He has previously pastored churches in Rock Hill, SC and Skippers, Virginia. He is a graduate of Anderson College, Clemson University, and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
One of Pastor Terry's passions is missions. He has led mission trips to Pittsburgh, PA, Glendive, MT, Cleveland, OH, Bryson City, NC, Rogersville, TN, Ranson, WV, New York City, NY, Sissetin SD. He has also been a part of three mission trips to Romania where he preached revival meetings, to the Amazon Jungle in Peru where he worked in the villages of the Urarina People, to Cuba, and most recently to Spain.
Pastor Terry has been active in both Associational and Convention work. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Personnel Committee for the Kershaw Baptist Association. He has served on the South Carolina Baptist Convention Executive Board, and has also served as First Vice President and Registration Secretary for the SCBC. and has served as Chairman of the By-Laws Committee for the SCBC.
He has been married to his high school sweetheart, Debbie, for 42 years and they have two children: Mary Beth is married to Kyle Eubanks and they have four beautiful boys. His son John served for 17 years as a Youth & Children's Ministry and a NAMB Church Planter in Glendive, Montana before his passing in January 2024.
